What is Tech Tuesday?

Tech Tuesday is a cool evening with different kind of workshops, speakers and round table sessions related to technology. People in the Permanent Beta, Seats2meet.com and Permanent Future Lab movements are organizing this event every 2nd Tuesday of the month. Seats2meet.com wants to stimulate people share knowledge and is sharing the location. Permanent Beta brings people together to share knowledge about technology, science and art. We believe in sharing because we like it and because it's important to us, not to get things. We believe in creating through creativity, not through money or power. From this perspective we hope to have you as a speaker or facilitator on a tech related topic.

What is going to happen

We organize the meeting rooms and the opportunity to exchange knowledge between several people. You bring in your knowledge. You can do this in the form of a presentation, interactive group discussion, workshop or other great method. Together we approached possible interested people in your tech related topic. We do this through the Permanent Beta Meetup group and the social media channels of Seats2meet.com & Permanent Beta. Itself you can access your own network the way you're used to.

We don't know the exact amount of participants come through the event and your topic. There are multiple subjects & speakers simultaneously giving doing their session and participants are allowed to change their place. The so-called dancing feet principle. The premise is that if there is even only one interested in your topic, it continues. If there is nobody there eventually come to your subject, which occurs sporadically, then that of course is frustrating. Feel free to join another topic.

Except we are asking you to share your knowledge, we are also asking participants to share publicly before and during your contribution by (live) video, blogs and social media.

Practical information

Location: Seats2meet.com Utrecht CS, Moreelsepark 65, Utrecht, The Netherlands
Time: Location is open at 7 PM and first participants are welcomed to have a meet & greet together. From 7.30 PM till 8 PM we will have a plenary meeting where the hosts and sessions facilitators will tell about the program. Listening sessions happen between 8.00 PM till 8.55 PM and do session between 9.00 PM till 9.55 PM. A different time slot from 8.00 PM till late is also an option. At 10 PM we also have the so called 'Your own projects' where people share their own tech projects in the open space.
